In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top food and drink apps on Android in New Zealand demonstrated varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

DoorDash: Food, Grocery, More experienced a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, maintaining figures around 3.4K to 4.1K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 57.4K, gradually decreasing to 41.5K by the end of December.

McDonald's saw a decline in weekly downloads from 5.4K at the beginning of October to around 3K by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers began at 198.8K, dropping to 133.5K by December's close.

KFC New Zealand showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 1.9K and peaking at 4.3K towards the end of December. Active users rose significantly from approximately 18.8K to 32.4K over the same period.

Uber Eats: Food and Grocery maintained a steady download rate, ranging between 1.9K and 3.7K weekly. Its active user base began at 85.9K and showed slight fluctuations, ending at 91.2K.

Finally, Burger King NZ had a relatively stable download pattern, mostly hovering around 1.1K to 1.8K weekly. Active users increased from 16.9K to 19.6K by the end of the quarter.
